Brad Pitt throws down for gay families
In statements leaked from the October issue of Esquire, Brad Pitt declares:
It is unclear what country he was in at the time, but it is probably safe to assume he meant the US. The cynics and bookies are already posting opinions and odds. Personally, Angelina Jolie is smoking hot, but I would be looking for an exit strategy too. Whatever is inspiring this altruistic statement, Pitt has masterfully raised awareness of one of the key battles for LGBT rights.

Many bisexuals (including Angelina Jolie) are marriage resisters, refusing to marry non-same-sex partners until same-sex marriage is also legal. Brad Pitt's statement reflects a certain type of bisexual political values. Considering his partner is bi, I was not surprised to learn that they are marriage resisters.
(Also, not all bisexuals are marriage resisters, and not all resisters are bi.)
