Sex is at the top. Now this is not a big surprise. Sex has driven many innovations on the internet, in part because it was the first thing you could buy directly from the internet. You didn't need to wait for a package in the mail, it came directly to your computer. The porn industry developed instant credit card checking which is now used by all commercial internet sites. You have to wonder why marketing expert Seth Godin is so scared by this. Surely of all people, he knows that sex is the number one seller in America. All these years into the internet, and this is a surprise?
