Good for Him: Craig is staying
Larry Craig's guilty plea has not been removed. He is still guilty. Of course, he is not guilty of anything that is worth mentioning, but in Minnesota they spend tax payer money to stop men from finding each other consensually.
Despite what he said, Craig will remain in the Senate until the end of his term.
Of course, the republicans are in a tizzy. "It's embarrassing for the Senate, it's embarrassing for his party," said Republican Senator John Ensign of Nevada.

Oh, repression. What a wicked web it weaves.

Are you kidding me?? You seriously think it's okay to have sex in a public bathroom? What is wrong with you?
It is possible to be sex-positive and pro-gay-rights but not want to non-consensually see strangers having sex at the airport, you know.

Anonymous, have you really ever seen sex in an airport? Do you think that that is going on? Of course not. Those who seek anonymous sex fear prosecution and they are right to fear it. So they know how to be secretive and discreet.
The Minneapolis police had to really make a study of bathroom sollicitation. That is how Craig was found out. I doubt that you would have even known that Craig was out to have sex with you if you saw his foot coming closer to your stall. Now you do, thanks to the Minneapolis police and those wonderful reporters who gave us all the details. That is also sexual literacy.
But don't worry. Like the proverbial wildcat on your camping trip, they are more afraid of you than you of them. And you won't see them. Calm down already.

Just because YOU have never seen it doesn't mean that nobody else has. I've never been in an airport men's room (I'm female) but I've seen people having sex at public parks, several times. I saw it at parks when I was a child as well - and it was particularly unwanted then.
People who do this are disrespectful of the rights of other people and they ought to be ticketed for trying it, and if they were visible, arrested for indecent exposure.
It was my understanding that there had been complaints from the public about the men's rooms at this airport, and the police were just doing their jobs responding to them. I hope the police will continue to create a climate where people are expected to have sex in private, not in public, whether or not you think it's a worthwhile use of their time.
